Centre Safe legal advocates provide emotional support and victim advocacy for those navigating the complexities of
the legal system.

• Assistance with the writing and filing of Protection From Abuse (PFA) Orders
• Accompaniment and legal advocacy to victims during criminal and civil court hearings, including: preliminary hearings, trials, indirect criminal contempt hearings, and Protection From Abuse Order hearings
• Outreach to survivors who have had contact with law enforcement and to plaintiffs of PFA Orders issued in Centre County to identify additional follow-up needs
• Assist victims with preparation and support during the investigative process and prosecution of defendants
